Securing Appointment Date:

Peak season and weekend dates are in high demand; we recommend you book your wedding services at least 4-6 months in advance. Your appointment dates and services will be fully secured once we have received the signed wedding agreement and the non-refundable deposit ($100 for parties of 3 or less, $150 for parties of 4 or more), which is credited toward your salon services the day of your wedding. We also require a credit card on file to secure your date. See further details on our Service Agreement.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A deposit ($100 for parties of 3 or less, $150 for parties of 4 or more) is required to save the date. Payment for all services are due the day of service. Any services not paid in full on the wedding day will be charged to the credit card on file.

Cancellations without 14 days notice will be charged a cancellation fee to the credit card associated with this wedding agreement as follows: less than two weeks (14 days) prior to your appointment, your credit card will be charged for 50% of the cost of services, less than 48 Hours (2 days), your credit card will be charged for 100% of the cost of service. Please keep in mind that should any party member forgo a prearranged service on date of service, 100% of the charge will apply.

A 20% service fee will be added to all services. We can travel to your location on Anna Maria Island with travel fees starting at $50. Travel to other areas is negotiable.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCED SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING SALON SERVICES?
We book months in advance, sometimes even a full year. So it’s best to secure your date as soon as you can! You can start the process by filling out our online wedding form.

SHOULD I WAIT TO BOOK IF I DON’T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE IN MY PARTY WILL ACTUALLY DO SERVICES?
We suggest you reserve your date now with a deposit. Please make sure you understand our cancellation policy. We are as flexible as we can be, especially when there is plenty of lead time.

HELP! MY WEDDING IS IN LESS THAN A MONTH. CAN YOU STILL DO MY HAIR AND MAKEUP?
Sometimes we do have last minute availability. We will help if we can. Complete the online form right away!

WHAT IS AIRBRUSH FOUNDATION AND WHY DOES IT COST MORE?
Airbrush foundation can be requested in place of regular foundation. It is lightweight and applied through an airbrush gun that produces a thin, even layer of makeup to create a flawless matte finish. The fine mist will allow your natural skin tone to show through, making it look more natural and less caked on. Airbrush foundation is waterproof (tears, anyone?), long lasting and will not transfer on to clothing – It looks amazing in professional photographs! There is an upcharge for this deluxe makeup application due to equipment and supply costs plus extra cleanup time for our stylists.

WHAT BRANDS OF MAKEUP AND HAIR PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
All of the hair and makeup products that we use are tried and true professional grade, designed to give long-lasting, photo-friendly results.

SHOULD I ADD FALSE EYELASHES?
We have a selection of professional grade lashes from natural to glamorous and will apply them expertly and quickly. If you prefer to supply your own lashes for us to apply during your makeup session there is still an application fee. Lashes are our most popular same day add-on.

CAN YOU COME TO MY LOCATION?
Of course! We want things to be comfortable and convenient for you. Travel fees start at $50. Longer distances are negotiable and may incur a higher travel fee. Keep in mind that travel services incur more time for our Stylists to load and unload gear, so please don’t ask us to waive this fee for their time.

ABOUT HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO DO EACH SERVICE?
Makeup appointments typically take 25-30 minutes, hair appointments take 30-45 minutes. Additional services will add extra time (lashes, long/thick hair, hair extension application, accessories, etc.). These are approximate times, and additional time may still need to be added into wedding day timelines.

WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY TRIAL?
This usually comes down to what your schedule permits, and how eager you are to see your hair and/or makeup in advance. We do trials several months out as well as just a few days out. Keep in mind, it is best to do the trial once you know the neckline of your dress.

DO I WASH MY HAIR THE MORNING OF THE TRIAL/WEDDING?
There seems to be a misconception actually, that you shouldn’t have clean hair if you’re having it put up. Arrive with it washed the night/day before (if you have very oily hair wash and dry the morning of.) We suggest you come with it dried and in desired part.

WILL THE STYLIST WHO DOES MY TRIAL BE THE SAME ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Yes, unless there are unforeseen circumstances that prevent the Stylist from being able to be at your wedding day appointment, or you request a different Stylist. In that scenario, all images and communications from the trial run will be relayed to the wedding Stylist.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR MY FLOWER GIRL?
Yes! We offer special rates for Flower Girls (aged 10 and under) as well as Jr. Bridesmaids (aged 11 -15).

WHAT IF I WANT TO GET MY NAILS DONE, TOO?
As a full service day spa we offer natural nails (no acrylics, or tips) including long-lasting shellac. Depending on your timeline and the size of your party, we suggest doing nails the day before the Big Day.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL PACKAGES FOR A SPA DAY IF WE BOOK THE WEDDING SERVICES WITH YOU?
We’d love to help you and your special group relax for the Big Day either at Body & Sol or on-site. We’ve got lots of options, from chair massage at your pool, to a Shower or Bachelorette Spa Party. Please contact our spa group coordinator, Amanda, at 941-896-2222.

CAN WE GET DRESSED THERE?
Sure! We need to know this in advance so that we can properly store your dresses, etc.

CAN WE HAVE THE PHOTOGRAPHER COME IN WHILE WE ARE GETTING READY?
Of course!

WE ARE DOING PHOTOS EARLY – WILL MY HAIR AND MAKEUP LAST UNTIL THE CEREMONY?
Definitely! This is why you are paying professionals.

WE NEED TO EAT BEFORE THE CEREMONY. CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO HAIR AND MAKEUP TIME?
Absolutely! We even have wine glasses and a fridge. If you prefer delivery or takeout, we are happy to make suggestions.
